The Night I Realized A Cure Was Needed, Not Medication

by Laurel

I said earlier to that my daughter was also showing signs of having painful acid reflux. Women are more likely than men to have extraordinarily painful symptoms and she was no different.

My little girl had certainly told me before that she felt painful reflux, but I didn’t really take it seriously or think twice about it.  After all, I had reflux and had blocked it out.  I didn’t think she had severe reflux but I was about as wrong as could be.

She was definitely showing signs of acid reflux, but it wasn’t until she showed up at the foot of my bed at two-thirty in the morning, in so much agony that tears were pouring down her cheeks, that I really took notice and decided that I had to do something about it.

As I said in my last entry, I’ve never been a bit fan of acid reflux medication. But this was something different, and while I had tolerated my reflux pain for years, I wasn’t going to ask my little angel to live with hers.  I had to get relief for her reflux.

We went to the clinic and got what was basically an over the counter reflux medication. Wonderful. Not at all what we wanted! I wanted a reflux cure, not just something to treat the symptoms. I decided to do my own investigation and finally located some great preventative measures.

No more medication related side effects for us!  Stay tuned, I’ll share my findings with you soon!
